I was born and raised in Cornwall and I am a proud graduate of Cornwall Schools. My wife and I are proud to raise our 4 children here.
I run a family-owned business based in Cornwall on Hudson. I also serve the community as a coach in Little League and Cornwall Youth Football, a member of the finance committee of St. Marianne Cope Parish, and a board member of Baby Steps Baby Pantry diaper bank in Newburgh.
I am running for a second term on the Cornwall Board of Education because I want to continue to provide an excellent education for our students in a fiscally sound way. Since I have served on the Board, we have passed a capital project referendum and begun work on $23 million of necessary updates to our schools. We have passed 3 budgets with a three-year average local tax increase of less than 1% per year. We added several new teaching positions to help our students, and we launched Cornwall's UPK program, which already helps 60 families. This year I was privileged to serve as BOE Vice President.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to build on this record of success in a second term. I humbly ask for your vote on May 21st.
